Quick and easy to piece, quilt and applique using your favorite red, white and blue fabrics! Skill Level: Intermediate Finished Quilt Size: 24" x 33" Cost: $8.00 ![]() #146 Diamond Delight ![]() This quilt is a challenge in piecing to match all the points. The trick is in the pressing where half of all the seams in Block A (and Block B) are pressed one way, and the rest are pressed in the opposite direction. Only 1 template used in the quilt block blocks so the rest is template free! Great quilt for batiks as shown but also will look good with florals. Skill Level: Intermediate Finished Quilt Block: 9" x 9" Directions are included to make a: * Lap Quilt: 20 quilt blocks (10 of Block A, 10 of block B) - 48" x 57" * Queen Quilt: 63 quilt blocks (39 of Block A, 24 of Block B) - 85" x 103" Cost: $8 ![]() #147 Country Pumpkins ![]() Hang this quilt from September through Thanksgiving to welcome your friends and family to your home! The pumpkins, log cabin blocks and maple leaf blocks are template free so they're quick to piece. The "WELCOME" is machine appliqued with a buttonhole stitch in the sample, but you could easily embroider it by hand. Use your fall stash of fabrics for the pumpkins and log cabin blocks that are tied together with a coordinating border. Happy fall y'all! Skill Level: Intermediate Quilt Block Size: 8" x 10" (Block A and B), and 6" x 6" (Block C) Number of Quilt Blocks: 16 (6 of Block A, 6 of Block B, 4 of Block C) Finished Quilt Size: 41" x 49" Cost: $8.00 ![]() #148 Autumn Blaze ![]() Growing up in Ohio the glowing leaves of maple tree leaves meant fall to me. Here in Washington we do not have as many maple trees, but there are many pine trees which provide "green" all year. Both the maple leaf and pine tree are traditional quilt blocks so I combined two of my favorite trees in this quilt. These blocks are pieced (not paper pieced) and go together with strip piecing and 3 pattern pieces. This quilt would look great as a wallhanging or even as a table topper during the fall season! Skill Level: Intermediate Quilt Block Size: 6" x 6" Number of Quilt Blocks: 13 (4 of Block A, 4 of Block B, 4 of Block C, and 1 of Block D) Finished Quilt Size: 37" x 37" Cost: $8.00 ![]() #149 Quilt Block Ornaments ![]() This could be a "take 'n go" project to carry with you in a zip lock bag. Use three strands of embroidery floss and a chenille needle to sew a buttonhole stitch or straight stitch to "piece" these wool felt ornaments together. Quick and easy to do! * If you do not add the hanging loop, you can use them as holiday coasters! Skill level: Intermediate Finished Ornament Size: 5" x 5" Cost: $8 ![]() #150 Pineapple Express ![]() Use coordinating fabric to create this table runner and place mat set! Or use fabric from your stash for a scrappy look! The pineapple block goes together easily with the templates provided. Did you know that a pineapple was used as a colonial symbol of hospitality? A great project for your home or a gift for a house warming or bridal shower! Skill Level: Intermediate Quilt Block Size: 10" x 10" Finished Table Runner Size: 16" x 38" Finished Place Mat Size: 12" x 18" Cost: $8.00 ![]() #151 Dad's Favorite Words ![]() This design is for the quilter that cross stitches or the cross stitcher who wants to quilt! "Dad's favorite four-letter words" is surrounded by BIKE, SNOW, HUNT, SAIL, BOWL, FISH, BOAT, and GOLF. If these don't fit your favorite Dad, then I'm sure you can come up with some other four-letter words. The finished cross stitched design is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" followed by three simple pieced borders. Buttons can be added if desired to either the finished pillow or wall hanging.
